National Day of Truth and Reconciliation
As we approach Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada next week, the NSCNR would like to share the final FCC Reconciliation Pathway report in both English and French.
Reconciliation is a shared journey where we learn, unlearn, and relearn; lift and support each other; make and commit to changes in relationships and perspectives; and maintain a steadfast commitment to making our education, economic, political, governing, and cultural systems, not just inclusive, but proactive and ensuring Indigenous Peoples are valued contributing members of our living, working, social, and cultural communities.
This Reconciliation Pathway was developed with all Chiropractic regulators in Canada and the assistance of Innovation 7. It represents the culmination of over three years of reflection, research and engagement with Indigenous leaders, Indigenous chiropractors, chiropractors who serve Indigenous patients across Canada and Indigenous patients of chiropractors.
We are beginning the first steps along this Pathway as we collectively work to bring down barriers for Indigenous communities in our spheres of influence.
