How to file a complaint
Despite all the regulations placed on Chiropractors and Naturopathic doctors for license to practice in the province, concerns may still arise in relation to areas of professional conduct. If this is the case, we hope you feel that you can discuss the matter with your health care professional in an open and forthright manner. Advising your Chiropractor or Naturopathic doctor of your concerns may help to resolve the issue and increase your satisfaction with subsequent care.
If the issue cannot be resolved through direct discussion, or if you feel discussion is not appropriate, you may bring your concern to the Registrar of the NSCNR. If you have a concern, you may phone the NSCNR to discuss the matter or write a letter outlining your concerns. The Registrar is available as a resource to assist you in determining what options you may wish to consider. Please contact the Office of the Registrar at the contact information below.
You also have the right to file a formal complaint. A formal complaint needs to be submitted to the Registrar of the NSCNR. This must be done in writing on the appropriate form. If you are unable to complete the form and an accommodation is required due to special circumstances, please contact the Registrar’s office to make appropriate arrangements. We suggest you keep a copy of the complaint for your records.
Please find the COMPLAINT FORM here.
